Black to move. The black king is not in check, but every square it could go to is controlled by the queen and Black has no other piece to move. This is called stalemate, and the game is a draw.
The game ended in a draw even though White was a queen up. When you are about to win, check on every move that your opponent still has a move.
Careful: if the queen goes to b6 here, Black has no moves at all and it's stalemate. Avoid stalemate and mate in one.
Another stalemate example: the black king on h8 has nowhere to go and is not in check. For the losing side stalemate is sometimes a last chance to save the game; for the winning side it is a big trap.
