Learns kingside and queenside castling and the castling rules.
Castling is a special move in which the king and a rook move in the same turn. It takes the king to a safe corner and brings the rook into play.
In kingside castling the king goes two squares right to g1, and the rook jumps over the king to f1. Castle kingside by dragging the king two squares to the right.
In queenside castling the king goes two squares left to c1, and the rook goes to d1. Now castle queenside.
Castling rules: the king and that rook must not have moved before, there must be no pieces between them, the king must not be in check, and the squares it crosses or lands on must not be attacked.
The black bishop is looking at f1. The king can't pass through that square, so kingside castling is not allowed. But queenside castling is possible: go ahead.
