The London System: 1.d4 and 2.Bf4. White uses almost the same setup against every Black setup: d4, Bf4, e3, Nf3, c3, Bd3, Nd2. It is easy to learn and solid.
Complete the setup: support the d4 pawn with c3.
A typical London structure. White's plan is play on the kingside with e4 or Ne5; Black looks for counterplay on the queenside.
