The engine is a powerful teacher, but used wrongly it makes your thinking lazy. Rule: think for yourself first, then ask the engine.
Don't memorise the move the engine suggests; try to understand why it is good. Play the suggested line on the board for a few moves and see the threat or the plan.
And most importantly: using an engine or any help during a game is cheating. Analysis is only for finished games.
